Activities this weekend included me trying to cook a few things while keeping Rowan out of the fireplace. He loves to eat fireplace dust especially when I am trying to do something in the kitchen or anywhere for that matter. My chocolate pudding came out lumpy, since I kept having to launch into a panicked race each time he was just about to ingest chunks of dirt. I made roasted chickpeas that were slightly overdone because I was prying Rowan out of the pantry when I should have been taking them out of the oven. Some nice discoveries where made. Lumpy chocolate pudding tastes just as good as the smooth stuff. Also, Rowan likes slightly overdone roasted chickpeas, I think, more than fireplace dirt.
