Rowan’s army of bedtime friends is growing and growing. This morning when I walked into his room, I got the feeling that I was interrupting something important. Rowan was in the middle of a very passionate sermon, speaking in his loud and clear toddler gibberish that I just adore hearing these days. He was totally absorbed in what he was saying, and his snugglies were surrounding him silent and captivated. When I tried to take him out of his crib, I was not surprised when he refused. He was in the middle of something after all! Fair enough, I left them all alone for a bit, and excused myself to the kitchen.
The giggles and chatter coming through the baby monitor were good company while I drank my coffee. Judging from his laughter and blissful screeches, those critters sure know how to have a good time. I would like to ask them their secret, but they speak a language that sadly, I have forgotten since becoming a “grown-up”. Lucky for me, Rowan is teaching it to me all over again.

Hi Brittany,
Thanks! Will check out your blog for sure.
This was so cute! I love it.. I love how children can bring back the innocence into our lives, the simple things that can make someone SO full of happiness. <3
I feel like I am totally reliving my childhood! happiness indeed!
love it. Soren is like that. I have a feeling we may have a future furry on our hands ๐ He can't go to sleep without 24 stuffies
Rowan just recently got so into his snugglies. It is sooo cute:)
Oh my gosh! Your son is so stinking cute!! There is no better sound than baby giggles of joy- self created no less!!
OMGosh get out of here with all that cuteness! Seriously Lisa you are adorable and your posts are so calming even the hectic ones. I love that you are trying to get him out of his crib while most parents are desperately trying to keep theirs in! HA I totally love this stream of photos, it looks amazingly cozy! However as tired as i am I wait patiently for nap to be over, or school or a play date so I can play with them again. It's such a short time before they kick you to the curb to do their own thing. ho-hum…
thanks so much! I love Rowan's room it is the coziest room in the house! This is a cute time. He is just now picking up new words, and like everyone says it is not going to last forever. I am going to hang on as long as I can!
These babies have a way of making us remember to stop and love life, don't they? Your sweet boy is just beautiful ๐
