Here are some scenes from a seemingly pointless craft that ended up being utterly satisfying for both of us. Rowan was getting restless one afternoon when the weather was bad (yay winter!). With nothing brilliant up my sleeve, I just dumped some flour and water into a big bowl, and we had at it.
Lately, Rowan has been teaching me the value in making a good mess. When you decide that a little dirt or flour or paint never hurt anyone, it is quite a lot of fun. Smart boy.
I can totally relate to restlessness and no good plans! More of those days are coming fast!
