WATCH!
I wish I could tell you that this DIY was a well thought out and planned craft developed to enhance your child’s creativity and fine motor skills. Though it will do all of those things, it was developed in a hurry the day of the birthday of Rowan’s classmate.
As usual, we had a gift, but no wrapping paper. With neither the time nor desire to travel to the local Target, we improvised. I did have a large roll of craft paper left by our movers, watercolors and a 4 year old who is always ready for a good messy project. The result, a sweet, personal package for any gift and occasion.

Cut off a piece of the craft paper big enough for your gift. Spread it out on a flat surface, and let your kids paint all over it. Let paper dry for at least an hour. It may need more or less time depending on how wet. Paper is ready for wrapping.
