I have been having some fun with flip books this week. I bought a big box of post it notes, and found myself doodling. Plus, Rowan was delighted watching my little (poorly drawn!) movies come to life on the corners of post-it note pads.
Inspired by these little books, I made this Mother’s Day printable. Just color them in and bind them together for a cute, simple card for mom.

DOWNLOAD PRINTABLE HERE.
Print out 4 COPIES of the interior pages of the printable.
Color or paint in the design. After everything is painted you can trim the rectangles along the dotted lines in the printable.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you keep the hearts in the correct order, so that the heart is successively bouncing up and down. You will repeat the design 4 times, so that it looks like it is bouncing back and forth.
To bind the book: Cut a hole in the first page of the book and use this as your template for all of the holes and punch holes in all of the pages and the covers. Bind together using paper fasteners. If you have a powerful stapler, you can staple the stack together or you can also use a small binder clip. The paper fastener just looks nicer.
