Spooky Halloween Night Candles

I am so thrilled that the temps have mellowed out here in Southern California. This Northeasterner still has yet to get accustomed to the monochromatic climate here in San Diego. It basically goes from sunny and warm to sunny and slightly warm from season to season. But, lately there has been a very subtle chill in the air. As soon as the calendar switches over to October,  I like fire up the pumpkin and pine candles, dim the lights to get in the cozy fall spirit.

These family friendly Spooky labels that will help you get in the spirit. Repurpose old jam jars or what ever jars you have on hand for glowy, comfy fun. These would make playful decor additions for your Halloween party or fun lighting for around your home.

Print out the labels using regular stock paper, so that they are a little transparent when the light hits. Use glue stick to adhere to the glass. I found glue stick gave the most even coverage so that the labels were smooth and nice looking.

Try these out in dark and watch the ghosts glow…

Try Rainbow Breathing! Taking deep breaths when feelings get overwhelming is a practice that can be invaluable for all of us. When kids are feeling anxious or stressed this practice can help them find calm and regulate their nervous feelings. Using fun modalities like this Rainbow Breathing tool, can be a good way to introduce this practice to young people in a fun way that won’t make the practice seem too intimidating.
Hi friends! Barnes and Noble has a nice promotion running!
This was our view when we were in Scotland. It was so good to walk by this river and empty my mind. Scotland, you charmed our whole family and brought us some moments of peace and bonding that we really needed. Sound on😌. River Earn, Crief, Scotland.
