Feelings

Feelings Stickers + Weekly Calendar

I learned how to make my own DIY stickers and now I am making stickers of absolutely everything. These stickers can help us all especially small children journal their feelings each week. The printable can be treated like a simple diary of sorts to help record emotions as they arise. When my anxiety gets the best of me I find writing in a journal comforting. Just noting how I am feeling and reflecting helps put things in perspective. It is not a cure all but a fine habit to adapt into your daily practice. Parents use this as well. Your feelings matter too!

Making these stickers is fun too. If you do not want to use the printable simply have the kids draw their feeling. The practice of drawing or writing what they are feeling is almost better. Making the stickers is easy where all you need is clear packing tape, parchment paper, and scissors.

Try Rainbow Breathing! Taking deep breaths when feelings get overwhelming is a practice that can be invaluable for all of us. When kids are feeling anxious or stressed this practice can help them find calm and regulate their nervous feelings. Using fun modalities like this Rainbow Breathing tool, can be a good way to introduce this practice to young people in a fun way that won’t make the practice seem too intimidating.
Hi friends! Barnes and Noble has a nice promotion running!
This was our view when we were in Scotland. It was so good to walk by this river and empty my mind. Scotland, you charmed our whole family and brought us some moments of peace and bonding that we really needed. Sound on😌. River Earn, Crief, Scotland.
