“Just like adults, children need to develop strategies for managing their emotions, so that they can build social-emotional skills. When children are more socially and emotionally aware and skilled, they can more effectively navigate relationships, calm down and problem solve when challenges arise.”
—From Talking with preschoolers about emotions, Penn State Extension
I created this fun interactive coloring page to add to any Social Emotional Learning lesson. After it is completed kids can use it talk about their feelings. There are feelings words to help kids who are finding it hard to know how they are feeling and I think this would be a fun activity to incorporate to enrich discussions after reading my book!

How are you feeling?
All of my printables work well to enhance the theme of my book. My book, “How are you feeling?” helps kids identify and get comfortable with how they are feeling inside!
