Feelings Activity + Games Pack

How can we help kids start a daily mindulness practice?

Sit with your kids and try as few or as many of these tips! Do something different each day to keep it fun. One suggestion is to have a consistent time for a mindulness break. In the morning before after breakfast, or at bedtime sometimes serve as healthy moments for reflection. Use the feelings activity pack to make it more fun!

Start the Day Mindfully

Begin your day with a moment of mindfulness. Take a few minutes to check in with yourself, focusing on how you’re feeling emotionally and physically.

Journal feelings

Consider keeping a journal where you can jot down your thoughts and feelings each day. This can help you track patterns and better understand your emotions. This is a great opportunity to print out the feelings activity pack and use it for journaling!

Take Breaks

Throughout the day, pause for short breaks to reflect on your emotions. This can be especially helpful during busy or stressful times.

Check-In Ritual

Create a daily check-in ritual that works for you. It could be a short meditation, a walk in nature, or just a quiet moment to sit and breathe.

Practice Gratitude

Reflect on things you’re grateful for each day. This can help shift your focus to the positive and improve your overall mood.

Connect with Others

Share your feelings with trusted friends or loved ones. Talking about your emotions can help you process them and feel supported.

Remember, checking in with your feelings daily is a practice that can help improve your overall mental health and well-being!
