Feelings Flower Puzzle

This homemade feelings puzzle can be an invitation to explore feelings and the concept that all of our feelings are inside of us. We can discuss that it is ok to feel mad, nervous, or silly and acknowledging those feelings is not only healthy but natural, like a flower. Feelings are clues to what is going on around us and in our bodies and a way for kids to get to know themselves. Who am I? What do I like and dislike? How do they feel around certain people, at school or on playdates. The ability for them to know and then communicate their emotions will follow them into adulthood.

I encourage you to create crafts like this and activities along with my book, “How are you feeling?” or they work well on their own. Exploring feelings should be fun and organic.
I also have a library of free printables that you can use too.
