I SPY! Feelings

There are so many benefits to playing games to help kids with their feelings. The more kids engage with emotions especially through play, the easier and more natural expressing our feelings becomes.

When my son was little, we loved to play “I Spy!” on long car rides or during dinner in restaurants. “I Spy a fluffy puppy.”, “I spy a red car.” It was a way to pass the time when he would get bored, or just for fun.

Search the picture above and see if you can find the feelings faces. Kids can fill out the free printable and guess the numbers. The answers are on the third page of the printable.

I’ll be posting more games and activities for kids to work on this summer. When my son was young and we took roadtrips or long plane rides, I was always in need of activities to keep him busy and engaged.

How many happy faces can you see?
How many angry faces?
How many feel faces can you see?
How many clouds?
How many flowers?
