Good Feelings Holiday Advent Calendar

No act of kindness, no matter, how small is ever wasted.
― Aesop

We love advent calendars in our home. The small daily activities help create meaningful moments that can relieve stress and pressure through connection and gratitude. They help to slow time and spread joy.
An advent calendar is a wonderful way to celebrate the season in a festive yet meaningful way. You can pepper December with activities like having a holiday music sing a long or baking cookies for neighbors. We look forward to advent activities every year because it really makes the whole month magical. This paper advent calendar can be downloaded and put together so that the whole family can participate. I have also included a paper ornament printable. One of the activities is to make an ornament, so this printable makes it easy!

“Advent calendars have their roots in the 19th century, when German Protestants started taking creative steps to mark the days leading up to Christmas, like ticking off chalk marks on walls or doors, lighting candles and placing straws in a Nativity crib.”
